" ...To Mike, Kevin, and the rest of the organizers of the Festival, I wanted to thank you as a sponsor, resident and festival attendee for the near-perfect event. The music was great, the organization of the event was flawless (like a good baseball umpire, great organization is invisible unless you are watching it), and the sponsor recognition was better than any sponsor recognition I have ever experienced. I am proud you guys are here in Bonita and look forward to provide greater support next year (there better be a next year!)

Kevin J. Barry was born and raised in Rochester, NY and came to Florida by way of Las Vegas. While in New York he played semi-pro Soccer, Lacrosse and also coached youth Lacrosse. In search of warmer climates, he arrived in Florida approximately 5 years ago. Not long after he arrived, he met his fiancée, Jennifer, and will be getting married late this year. While working in management for JJ Taylor Distributing, Kevin decided it was time to go out on his own. He started ORION HOME INSPECTIONS in 2005 and has been growing his business since. Kevin is a licensed home inspector, a member of Nachi (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and a graduate of the Ed Klopfer School of Home Inspection. Kevin is an active member of Bear (The Bonita Estero Realty Association) and is on its affiliate member social planning committee, helping to plan charitable and social events. Kevin is also a member of the Bonita Chamber of Commerce and BNI (Business Networking International.) In addition, Kevin was one the founders of Southwest Florida Youth Lacrosse, bringing the sport he enjoys so much to the children of this area.
Three years ago Kevin, along with his lovely wife Jennifer, and Terry and Michael Pfeffer had a brainstorm about bringing the “Blues” to Bonita Springs. With a whole lot of effort and organization, the First Annual Bonita Blues Festival was born. Last year Kevin (and the crew) was instrumental in forming The Bonita Blues Charitable Foundation, in order to raise money and be able to direct these funds to the local needy charities in this area
Area businessmen Mike Pfeffer and Kevin Barry founded the event to raise money to help the homeless, abused women and children, and babies in our community Learn more...
